Services

Ashley supports adults (18+) with a broad range of psychological concerns, including:

  • Depression

  • Grief and loss

  • Anxiety and panic

  • Obsessive compulsive disorder

  • Stress, coping, and adjustment difficulties

  • Perinatal support

  • Anger management and emotion regulation

  • Interpersonal and relationship difficulties

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • Personality disorder

Ashley takes an integrative and flexible approach to therapy, carefully selecting evidence-based modalities to align with each individual’s unique needs, goals, and presenting difficulties. This personalised approach ensures that treatment remains both responsive and effective. Ashley frequently draws upon the following approaches:

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviours,

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients handle difficult thoughts and feelings more effectively, while focusing on what matters most to them, so they can live a more meaningful life,

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) to help clients learn practical skills to manage their emotions, cope with stress, and build healthier relationships,

  • Schema Therapy to help clients understand and change long-standing patterns and beliefs, often formed in childhood, that can affect how they see themselves and relate to others,

  • Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is an effective therapy for OCD. It helps reduce the intensity of obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviours. It supports you to gradually face situations that bring on fear or discomfort (i.e., the obsessions), while practicing new ways of responding instead of relying on old habits (i.e., the compulsions). With guidance and support, this process helps ease distress and strengthen confidence in managing difficult thoughts and feelings.

Each of these approaches is grounded in strong clinical research and adapted to best support the individual in their therapeutic journey. Together, we will determine the strategies and techniques that are most relevant and helpful for your personal circumstances.

In-Person and Telehealth Appointments Available

Ashley offers both in-person and telehealth psychology sessions to provide flexible support that fits your lifestyle.

Whether you choose to meet face-to-face or online, the quality of care remains the same and research shows that psychological services provided via telehealth are equally as effective as in-person services.
