Clinical and Forensic Psychologist
AHPRA Board Approved Supervisor
I’m a registered and endorsed clinical and forensic psychologist. I hold a Doctorate in Psychology (Clinical & Forensic) and am also an AHPRA Board-approved supervisor.
I have experience working across hospital, community, and forensic mental health services, as well as private practice. This diverse background has equipped me with a deep understanding of the complexities of mental health and the challenges individuals face across different contexts and stages of life. I also hold an academic appointment as a Senior Lecturer with the Centre for Forensic Behavioural Science, where I teach into postgraduate programs and provides supervision to students undertaking advanced training in clinical and forensic psychology.
I prioritise creating a safe, respectful, and supportive space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted—no matter what you bring to therapy. Together, we’ll explore what’s been happening for you and how it’s affecting you. We’ll identify patterns or experiences that might be keeping you stuck and find practical strategies that make life feel more manageable. My hope is not just to ease your distress, but to help you reconnect with your strengths, build resilience, and feel more grounded and confident in yourself.
When I’m not in the therapy room, you’ll usually find me chasing after my kids, chasing the sun by the beach, or just chasing a good coffee. Some of my happiest moments are simple ones, like watching my two young daughters play or baking together in the kitchen (where the fun is often more in the process than the result!). Family life can be wonderfully chaotic, so I make the most of any chance to enjoy my latest rom-com novel or unwind with a good Netflix series. It’s these everyday moments that keep me centred and remind me of the power of balance, connection, and joy - values I carry with me into my work with clients.
